How to file your financial statements on Qayd

Qayd is the Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s portal for financial statements. From 1 January 2027 every company files there electronically. These are the steps, in order, as the portal shows them today.

  1. 1

Sign in to Qayd as the company

Sign in with Hawiyati. The filing has to be made by the company’s manager or an authorised person.

  2. 2

Make sure your company is linked

If “My companies” is empty, use “Submit a company data update request” with the commercial registration number and the central number from your CR certificate.

  3. 3

    Download your Excel template

E-services → the balance-sheet services section for your company type → “Submit balance sheet and financial year data” → choose the entity civil number → Inquire. Download the file and do not open or edit it.

  4. 4

    Fill it — with Mizan

Upload the file to Mizan, bring in your numbers, fix anything the 129 rules flag, and get your audit office’s approval. Download the filled file.

  5. 5

    Validate it in Excel

Open the filled file in Excel on a computer, press the template’s own Validate button and save. The template records the result itself.

  6. 6

Upload to Qayd and keep the reference

Upload the Excel file together with the audited statements (PDF). Record the reference Qayd gives you in Mizan so the year is archived.

Good to know

  • The template carries the previous year as comparatives — have last year’s figures ready.
  • Qayd asks for the auditor’s KAAA authentication number.
  • Notes are required whenever certain items appear (leases, related parties and more).
  • Portal menus can change; the Ministry’s own instructions always come first.

Steps 4 and 5 are where filings come back.

Try them on a demo company first — Mizan fills the template and runs the same 129 rules before you ever open Excel.

Mizan is an independent service by Point of Trade, not affiliated with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Steps as observed on the Qayd portal in October 2026.
